The primary purpose of the Nail Technology course is to train the student in basic manipulative skills, safety judgments, proper work habits and desirable attitudes necessary for entry level positions as a Nail Technician or related career avenue. We help students learn to recognize and improve the condition of nails and skin using the latest nail technology.

The nail technology course consists of instruction of both theoretical and practical skill development required for licensure. Theory and practical precede laboratory activities and students must complete basic manicuring curriculum which demonstrates competence in both theory and practical skills before being allowed to participate in laboratory activities. Theory and practice are integrated throughout the course
